Insanely amazing vintage skirt by Comme des Garcons, from Spring/Summer 2003. Rei Kawakubo at her finest - serving all of the elements you'd want from a CDG piece: it's pleated, it's padded, it's deconstructed, and it's distressed! A combo of ivory and creamy tones, the skirt features a pleated, gathered, and pin-tucked skirt bottom. Varying length hem. Ruched and gathered 'puffed' pieces in creamy, soft velvet attached at the waist, padded and stuffed with tulle,. Distressed and shredded trims/thread throughout. Zipper and hook closure at side - although, as shown in photos, you can wear it any which way you choose. Original tag still attached, this piece has never been previously used or worn. This thing is a masterpiece - wear it with your favorite band tee or a Westwood style corset - really, this is a super versatile piece that can be styled so many ways!
